THE PHOENIX
PROGRAMME.
INSPIRE. BUILD. ACCELERATE.

The Phoenix Programme applications close 12 pm April 12, 2021.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Phoenix Programme is an accelerator programme designed to cultivate the next generation of young, ambitious writers from across the United Kingdom.
Diverse writers have often been systematically excluded from the publishing industry and lack the resources and capital to take their work to the next level of scale and potential. As a result, many of these aspiring writers, authors and storytellers do not benefit from having the platform to share their creative work with the masses.
We aim to change the narrative by helping young people between the ages of 16-25 with their writing goals over an intense 4-month Bootcamp. As part of the programme, a group of 30 hand-picked individuals will be given the opportunity to develop their virtual writing skills, personal brand and pitching capabilities alongside industry experts. They will then have the opportunity to publish their own original pieces with Apple, in collaboration with the major editing houses in the UK.
ELIGIBILITY

The Phoenix Programme is all about empowering the voices of those who are from diverse backgrounds, giving young people the opportunity to share their stories and experiences on a wider platform.
In order to achieve this, the following criteria applies:

You must be between the ages of 16-25 at the time of application.
You must be available for the entire duration of the programme to take part.
The programme will run on GMT timing and is exclusive to residents of the United Kingdom
